Talbot County and Easton Market Absorption Potential: Discussion with The Chesapeake Group

The Easton Economic Development Corporation (Easton EDC) hired The Chesapeake Group (TCG) in 2024 to assess market-rate residential and commercial development opportunities in Talbot County and Easton. The results of potential absorption were based in part on extensive primary and secondary data research, surveys of households, and demand forecasting based on TCG proprietary models.

In this video, Howard Kohn, CEO of TCG, will discuss the results of his research. Mr. Kohn will also describe the analytical process he used that resulted in his findings, which also helped to inform opportunities in the East End for meeting unmet demand.
