Discovering Easton: Two Pair Collectables

Confession time: I’m a huge nerd.

Video games, Dungeons and Dragons, I run the gamut, but the subject that takes up the most space in my heart (and my bank statements) has always been Pokemon.

I have an inadvisable amount of Pokemon merch. Between me and my wife, we could probably open our own store. But whenever I come across something I want that I don’t already have, it’s worth stopping to take note.

And today, I’m taking note of Two Pair Collectables, just right by Giant Foods in The Shoppes at Easton, because these guys impressed me. If you have a fan of Pokemon, collectibles, or any sort of trading card game enthusiasts, it’s worth taking them to Two Pair. It’s not just a haven for any Pokemon collector, it’s a treasure trove of trading cards of all kinds.

I’ve spent a lot of time in hobby shops, and Two Pair has stuff you just can’t get anywhere else. There were things I hadn’t seen in years and things I’d never seen before. After a few stops, I’ve brought quite a bit home, and now my son, my wife, my nephew, and I have a bit of Two Pair treasure squirreled away. It really is an excellent shop!

And it’s not a secret either. Two Pair regularly hosts robust, officially sanctioned, and well-attended trading card game tournaments. Kids and Adults come out for these games and you can find a schedule on their Facebook page.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the shop looks great and is extremely easy to navigate, and the prices are better than most big box stores. It’s a total gem, and I’m happy to share it with my fellow collectors out there. Easton has a pretty stacked deck when it comes to great businesses, and with Two Pair, a great find is always in the cards.
