ADULTS can join the raffle of special themed baskets and explore handmade creations to purchase in our Candy Land Bazaar.

The unofficial start to the holiday shopping season in Easton begins with Shop Small Saturday! Support your independently-owned businesses that create jobs and help our local economy. Downtown businesses will showcase all of the latest styles and gifts for the holidays!
Friends of Hospice is pleased to present this year’s theme: “Holiday Traditions.” The Festival of Trees has been a Christmas tradition in Easton for 35 years! Proceeds benefit Talbot Hospice with over 3 million dollars raised since 1986. Come see beautifully decorated Christmas Trees at the Tidewater Inn and mini performances by local choral and musical groups.
The start and endpoint will be Idlewild Park. Participants will go down Rails to Trails for the 5K course. The Santa 5K Fun Run & Walk is an event for the entire family. Runners will be timed and awards will be given. Walkers are also strongly encouraged to participate
Meet Santa, enjoy holiday craft stations, games, music and the best selfie station!
This free event will take place on S. Harrison Street in downtown Easton. Choral groups, choirs, and bell ringers will perform. All spectators will receive a complimentary candle and songbook. Enjoy hot cocoa and holiday treats provided by our local restaurants and stores. The celebration starts with a special Christmas tree lighting by Santa!
Starlight Shopping in downtown Easton the first three Thursdays in December. Stores will be open until 7:00PM with Free Carriage Rides starting in front of the Visitor Center at 11 S Harrison St. Carolers strolling around town will entertain you with holiday music, The Tidewater Inn will feature a pop-up bar. The Academy Art Museum – Bugatti, Reaching for Perfection exhibit will be open until 7PM. Spend $50 in any business in downtown Easton on a Thursday in December during the Starlight Shopping Event and bring that receipt to the Visitor Center to receive our signature ornament for free. One ornament per person, while supplies last. Check often for more a specials and events during Starlight Shopping in Easton.
For All Seasons invites you to an evening with Frosty! Make sure to come early downtown and catch Santa as he turns the lights on on our festive holiday tree in Thompson Park. Get a snap of the jolly man himself before he rushes downtown to host our traditional holiday parade. The Chamber of Commerce will have collection boxes at Thompson Park during the parade to collect for Toys for Tots.
Easton’s largest parade of the year includes some of the most creative and decked-out floats in town with dozens of organizations competing for the judge’s choice! Enjoy classic cars, marching bands, holiday characters, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and more during this festive celebration.

First Night Talbot has entertainment and fun for the whole family. Traditionally, events are spread out among two venues in downtown Easton, Maryland. Children’s’ activities start at at the Waterfowl Building at 6:00pm with a Crap Drop at 9:00pm. Activities then move to the Avalon Theatre for a concert culminating with the world-famous Crab Drop at midnight.
