Easton Economic Development Corporation Welcomes Kurt Fuchs to Board of Directors

Easton Economic Development Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kurt H. Fuchs to its board of directors. Fuchs brings a wealth of experience and his appointment reinforces the organization’s dedication to preserving and re-energizing historic Easton and civic engagement for the community.

 

Fuchs currently serves as the Manager of External Affairs for the Easton Utilities Commission. His impressive career includes roles as the Director of Government Affairs for Horizon Farm Credit, and the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for midAtlantic Farm Credit. Prior to this, he worked as a lobbyist tracking 200-250 bills that impacted agriculture and rural communities during each Maryland General Assembly Session.

 

Kurt Fuchs is an advocate for collaboration and service, and his efforts to coordinate the development of strategies and operational plans for business and community relations have left a positive impact across local, state, and federal levels of business.

  

Fuchs holds a bachelor’s degree in Arts in Political Science from McDaniel College and a Master of Arts in Public administration from the University of Baltimore.
