A very sincere thank you for making the second Eastern Shore Witch Paddle a success and wholly embracing this cause in our community.
We are VERY pleased to announce that this year’s event raised nearly $67,000 and received additional “in-kind” gifts valued at over $20,000! This is incredible as it’s only the second year — and the first for the silent auction! Thanks to the generosity of the Oaks and our incredible volunteers, we were able to keep our event costs very low, so our event NETTED over $64,000 total!
These funds will be presented to the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center next week and will allow them to finally complete the purchase of a Faxitron. The Faxitron will provide advanced pathology imaging and reduce operating time for better outcomes and enhanced care of breast cancer patients right here on the Eastern Shore in the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center.

Mark your Calendars for mid-October next year and be sure and tell your friends! We aim to do more to ensure that breast cancer patients on the eastern shore receive the best care possible now and for years to come.
