Art in Bloom is our May Day Gallery Experience during the May Day Celebration - May 1 - May 3 . The Trippe Gallery's Art in the Garden exhibit over the years is so lovely that it became the inspiration for the Art in Bloom event. What is Art in Bloom? Twelve Easton Art Galleries will create a... floral arrangement inspired by a chosen piece of art to be displayed by that piece of art for the duration of the May Day Celebration. That flower arrangement will be raffled in each gallery on Saturday, May 3rd at 4pm. There will be a printed list of the galleries participating in the event, that will be available at the Visitor Center at 11 S Harrison St and at the following galleries that are participating. The Trippe Gallery, Troika Gallery, Studio B Art Gallery, Zach Gallery, Spiralis Gallery, Zebra Gallery, TRA Gallery, The Waterfowl Festival Gallery, The Market at Dover Station, Wildlife Gallery and 9 S Studios. Talbot County Government invites the community to commemorate its official birthday at the annual Talbot Day Celebration on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5:00 – 6:30 PM at the Talbot County Courthouse Lawn at 11 N Washington St in Easton.​

Established by a County Council proclamation ...in 1983, Talbot Day honors the rich history and vibrant community of Talbot County. This year's celebration will feature:

Recognition of Poster Contest Winners: Showcasing artistic interpretations of the theme "Talbot Through Time."

Presentation of the Talbot Citizen & Service Awards: Honoring individuals who have made significant contributions through volunteerism and service

Music performed by Easton High School Jazz Band and Guest Speaker by resident and amateur historian, Mike Mielke

Leading up to the celebration, residents are encouraged to participate in the Talbot County Passport Challenge and test their knowledge with the Talbot Trivia games, both available throughout April.​
