EatSprout Opens Up New Cafe in Downtown Easton

EatSprout co-owners Ryan and Emily Groll announced the Spring opening of a new Sprout Cafe in downtown Easton at 22 North Harrison Street. A ribbon cutting at the new cafe is scheduled at 4 pm, Friday, March 28, 2025.

The new downtown Easton location will feature its popular healthy grab-and-go meals, baked goods, and desserts that fly off the shelves in its St Michaels location, two Annapolis locations, and the existing Easton location on Aurora Street, which provides takeout service and also serves as its central kitchen that supplies fresh product to all its stores.

According to Emily Groll, “The new location will offer both indoor and outdoor seating and a warm ambiance and fun vibe.” Ryan added, “We love Easton; this is where EatSprout was born, and we have been waiting for the right location to move deeper downtown and take advantage of increased foot traffic and demand, particularly during the many special events, which draw locals and tourists to Easton.”

Emily and Ryan have been very involved in EatSprout community philanthropy for years, working with various non-profits in the area. They recently signed an agreement with Meals on Wheels to provide 2000 meals a week to three counties on the Eastern Shore.

EatSprout is not finished expanding and recently signed a lease to open a new Sprout location this summer in busy downtown Bethesda on Elm Street in Montgomery County. The Grolls are excited to bring their unique grab-and-go menu and Eastern Shore charm to a more densely populated area.

According to long-time Easton resident Richard Marks, “I love EatSprout. I remember when they began their business in 2016, first delivering meals to homes, then a food truck, and now look at them. We could not be prouder of Emily and Ryan, our homegrown entrepreneurs.”
