Experience the lively and colorful May Day Celebration in Easton, Maryland, May 1st and 2nd, where downtown truly comes alive 🌸

Participating shops and businesses will showcase stunning, award-winning floral arrangements and decorations, with a magnificent flower display at Thompson ...Park's entrance, created in partnership with @chesapeakeblooms and the Garden Club of the Eastern Shore. Starting Friday, May 1st, you can enjoy viewing wreaths, baskets, planters, and arrangements that will be on display all weekend.

During the event, downtown Easton’s amazing shops, restaurants, and theaters will offer special sales and fun experiences. From fresh spring fashions to lively music and delicious foods, especially during Easton’s Restaurant Week, the streets will be buzzing with springtime joy. You can also pick up flower stamp cards from our wonderful downtown retailers. Spend $25 at any participating retail store to earn a stamp—collect three stamps, and you can exchange your completed card at the Visitor Center on 11 South Harrison Street for a lovely mini vase of fresh-cut flowers! The cards will be available at all participating stores on May 1st and 2nd.

Also, enjoy Easton’s First Friday Gallery Walk from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 1st, where local galleries will showcase art exhibits inspired by flowers and fine arts, along with light refreshments. During the festival, cozy up with us for a free screening of 'The Wild Robot', sponsored by @forallseasonsinc at about 8:30 p.m. in the @talbothistoricalsociety garden on Friday, May 1st.

The @avalonfoundation will host an exciting Friday night with 'Let’s Sing Taylor,' a lively concert celebrating Taylor Swift’s hits. On Saturday, May 2nd, join them at Idlewild Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the 26th annual Multicultural Festival.

On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the Talbot County Government will celebrate 365 years of history—alongside the nationwide 250th anniversary. Things will begin at 4:00 p.m. in front of the Talbot County Courthouse as they honor incredible members of the... community—volunteers, leaders, mentors, and unsung heroes—nominated for the Citizen and Service Awards. Then, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on the West Street side, join in an old-fashioned community ice cream social with arts & crafts for all ages, lawn games, touch-a-truck, and FREE ice cream from Scottish Highland Creamery—including special birthday flavors served in a keepsake bowl.

Outdoor movie nights are coming back to Easton! Friends and Families are invited to come early, bring a picnic blanket or chair, and enjoy free screenings of entertaining and exciting films with everyone in their community. The ...screenings will once again be sprinkled across Easton’s many parks for most of the summer season, with an extra movie screening in September to celebrate the beginning of Hispanic Heritage month!

August’s screening of The Rocketeer will be co-hosted with the awesome folks at the @eastonairport, and the @academyartmuseum will once again co-host the final movie of the year during Easton’s Fall Kickoff event 🎃 But stay tuned! We may have a few more surprises for the year 😉

We're ready to embrace spring with the return of Easton's May Day Celebration on May 1st and 2nd 🌺🌼

During the event, Discover Easton will offer flower stamp cards to invite shoppers to explore the many wonderful shops downtown. When visitors spend 25 dollars at any retail... shop in downtown Easton and earn a stamp, they can collect stamps on their cards. Visitors who earn three stamps can then exchange their completed card at the Visitor Center at 11 South Harrison Street for a gift of a mini vase of fresh cut flowers, courtesy of Discover Easton. Shoppers can pick up their cards at any participating retail store downtown during May Day, May 1st and 2nd.
