    Description

Easton Choral Arts (ECAS) is busy rehearsing for its December Concerts in a new rehearsal and performance venue. Following last season’s sold out December concert and the overwhelmingly glowing response to last spring’s concert of “Creation” by Dan Forrest, Easton Choral Arts Society (ECAS) has grown – welcoming 17 new singers to the chorus!

The Christmas concerts will take place on:

    Friday, December 5th, 7:30 - 9:00pm and Saturday, December 6th, 4:00 - 5:30 pm

at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 100 Peachblossom Avenue in Easton.

ECAS welcomes and engages all who share a love of singing and vocal performance. “With more space in the rehearsal room and on the risers, we are so excited to be able to welcome even more members to our ECAS family," said Easton Choral Arts Board President Emily Moody.

"For the past 4 seasons, tickets were sold out before concert week, causing us to turn away some people who wished to attend our concerts. The larger audience space at St. Mark’s will allow us to share the joy of choral music to many more members of the community, offering easier parking and a comfortable experience.”

Alexis Ward, Artistic Director of ECAS, says, “Our upcoming December concert, “A Winter Rose” is a celebration of beauty in all its forms - musical, seasonal, and symbolic. This program brings together some of the most breathtaking choral music of the holiday season, with something for everyone: sacred classics, haunting winter ballads, joyful carols, and a touch of vintage holiday sparkle. It’s a concert full of warmth and wonder.”

Tickets for this concert are already on sale on the group’s website.

    General admission is $25

Students in grades one through high school are admitted free. This is not appropriate for students younger than first grade.

ECAS hosts two open rehearsals at the beginning of the fall and spring seasons to give all interested singers the opportunity to experience the choir prior to committing to the season. All are welcome to attend, regardless of musical knowledge or experience. Auditions are no longer required, and members do not need to know how to read music in order to join.

The next Open Rehearsals will be held on January 13th and 20th (attend one or both) from 6:30 to 9pm.

    Choral Art’s Vision

Our choir envisions a vibrant, inclusive community where music thrives as a shared experience that unites and inspires. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that welcomes and values all voices, nurturing a culture of belonging for all. We seek to ensure that participation remains accessible, removing barriers and opening doors to lifelong musical engagement. Through  financial stability and innovative programming, we strive to grow future generations of singers who will carry forward the joy of choral music. Above all, we seek to uplift, educate, and connect through the power of song.
