Dear Friends of the Chesapeake Film Festival:

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. On May 5, you can help the Chesapeake Film Festival fulfill, even expand, its mission despite the economic and social burdens necessitated by CoVid19.

Because of the pandemic, the Chesapeake Film Festival, October 1-4, will be a virtual festival, accessible to people across the globe.  We can’t bring the world to the Eastern Shore of Maryland this year, but we can bring the Eastern Shore to the world as we share our common humanity and interests through film and conversations with the filmmakers.

Now in our 13th year, the Chesapeake Film Festival keeps getting better and better.  With your support, 2020 can be the best year ever as we deliver stunning, entertaining, and significant new independent films to your home.

Look for our GivingTuesday email tomorrow, and please make a donation to the 2020 Virtual Chesapeake Film Festival, where films connect us despite social distancing.

Thank you,Sandy Cannon-Brown

P.S. You don’t have to wait for tomorrow to donate. Go to our website now to show your support.
