Dear Museum Community,

We eagerly look forward to the re-opening of the Museum! Following our soft-opening on August 1, come out at your leisure to enjoy the new Mary Lou McAllister Courtyard entrance, the modern glass A. James and Alice B. Clark Entrance, and the transformed Saul Atrium Gallery and other galleries. We welcome you to visit the Museum in person as it leaps into the twenty-first century while honoring the legacy of the Academy’s historic buildings and traditions.

We are excited to welcome visitors beginning Saturday August 1, though we remind you that this is not an opening reception, simply a soft-opening during museum hours: 10am-4pm. If you prefer to avoid potential crowds, we encourage you to consider a visit during the week. Our new museum hours will be T-Sat. 10am-4pm, Sun. 12-4pm (closed Mondays).
