In Easton, you’re spoiled for choice with good places to eat. Take it from me: The best place to eat lunch is a multiple choice with no wrong answers. But you’ll always see the long-time residents at Out of the Fire on Washington Street. They’ve been around forever, and they’ve earned their reputation as a fantastic restaurant that remains a favorite among Easton’s downtown crowd.
That includes me: It’s one of my favorite places to take lunch. There are a lot of favorites to have: Their salads are great, their sandwiches equally so, but my all-time go-to are the pizzas. Whether it be their duck-sausage pizza or a daily special, I’ve never had a bad slice at Out of the Fire. For my money, it’s the best in the area. I mean, they’re practically works of art.
So many of Out of the Fire’s plates ARE art, really. It’s a pretty place with pretty food that tastes as good as it looks. It doesn’t hurt that the owners and staff are so friendly, and any day of the week, you can expect to see some friendly faces from around downtown Easton enjoying a good atmosphere and great food.
Heck, if it’s lunch time, you might see me, probably eating pizza.
