The Fire and Ice trail returns on February 14 and 15 for Chesapeake Fire & Ice 2025 in Easton, MD!
This free family-friendly two-day festival features a spectacular trail of larger-than-life ice sculptures, many of which are interactive, such as the colossal ice throne, an ice graffiti wall, a romantic ice fireplace, and more all through downtown Easton! The first night of the festival will kick off with a Valentine’s Day block party featuring electric live musical performances, fire pits, live ice carvings, and a stocked ice bar with tasty beverages from Delmarva Craft and Lyon Rum in the Fire Pavilion at 41 South Harrison Street from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Downtown will morph into a vibrant winter wonderland perfect for strolling and taking pictures with amazing icy art from the carvers at Icelab and music filling the streets. Take your sweetie ice-skating at the Bluepoint Hospitality sponsored rink at 11 South Harrison Street free for skaters of all ages on both days of the festival. Visitors can also find Cascading Carlos juggling fire in Thompson Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the 14th and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the 15th.
The Children’s Icehouse will be at the Waterfowl Building on 40 South Harrison Street on Saturday the 15th. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Children of all ages can take a break from the cold with free craft projects, games, giveaways, snacks, and more!
Children will have plenty of cool activities from noon to five. The Talbot County Free Library will host a story time reading of Karen Kilpatrick’s When Glitter Met Glue and a book giveaway during the day. Two Pair Collectibles will also be doing trading card giveaways as well as free raffles and a Fire and Ice Pokemon Trading card game tournament. Gluten Free Bakery Girl will also offer treats and the wonderful folks from Merry Maids will offer free hot chocolate. There will also be a mini full-court basketball game, splat game, and connect four!
Downtown will also feature pop-up bars with delicious bites and beverages, fresh oysters from the Talbot Watermen, and free live musical performances from many talented artists including Anna Burgess, DJ E Shore, Poppy Blue Eyes, and Jayla Elise. Local restaurants and retailers will also feature spicy specials, exclusive cocktails, sizzling sales, and limited-edition treats throughout the weekend.
