Chesapeake Fire & Ice will again feature dozens of ice sculptures spread throughout Easton’s historic district. Downtown will morph into a vibrant winter wonderland perfect for strolling and taking pictures with amazing icy art from the carvers at Icelab and music filling the streets. Every icy piece of art will be outside and easy to view with a stroll through town!
The festivities continue all weekend with opportunities to tour the ice sculptures. Events will include an activity-filled Fire Trail, family fun events, entertainment, seasonal sales, shopping, restaurant specials, lodging specials, and more!
Easton offers free public parking in the Town lots and free street parking for the first 3 hours.
Our downtown map gives you the layout of free lots. Most any free lot is within the layout of Chesapeake Fire & Ice and will provide an easy walk to the festivities.
Enjoy a free self-guided tour of the beautifully designed ice sculptures in downtown Easton! Each sculpture is sponsored by a local business or organization and offers great photo opportunities. Grab a festival map from the Easton Visitor Center on 11 South Harrison St or download it so you’ll know exactly where to go and where to be during the Chesapeake Fire & Ice Festival!

Come and enjoy the opportunity to skate outside in Easton during the festival! If you are worried about bringing your own skates. Special equipment is needed, street ice skates are not allowed. Skates will be provided for anyone who wants to go on the rink so just bring yourself and your friends. Admission for skating is also completely free. The synthetic ice rink is sponsored by Bluepoint Hospitality.

The Ivy Cafe will host Moth Radio Hour, based on a popular weekly radio show and podcast featuring true, personal stories told live on stage without scripts or notes, showcasing diverse experiences from humorous to heartbreaking. Storytelling @ The Ivy hopes to connect an Easton Audience with authentic narratives from everyday people and professional storytellers. They will also be open on Saturday, the 21st, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with fun cocktails and specials!
Bluepoint Hospitality will have a beverage cart and a bagpiper in front of The Stewart on Saturday, the 21st, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Out of the Fire will offer a S’mores Ice Cream Sandwich. The dessert will consist of a toasted marshmallow and spicy Mexican hot chocolate ice cream sandwiched between cinnamon macaron cookies. All items for the dessert are made in-house!
Make your way into Spiralis Gallery during Chesapeake Fire & Ice for cider, donuts, and a look at the whimsical, duck-filled mixed-media work of artist Susan Lenz.
9S Studios will have La Sombra Como Refugio: Shade as Refuge solo exhibition by Fredy Granillo on view for visitors.
TRA GALLERY presents “Double Take”, a 2-day exhibit of Mike Miller’s photos and Stephen Walker’s paintings from the photos on Friday, February 20th, 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, February 21st, 11-4 p.m.
The Talbot Historical Society is presenting a Native American Heritage & Artifact Day, held on February 21st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering families and individuals a rare opportunity to experience centuries-old Native American artifacts along with the living history of the Pocomoke Indian Nation through demonstrations, presentations, and cultural displays in the Waterfowl Festival Building at 40 South Harrison Street.

The amazing Oracle of Apollo will dance with flames at the Market at Dover Station on Friday night from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oracle is an accomplished and skilled performer whose fiery feats thrill audiences.
The Children’s Icehouse will be at the Waterfowl Building on 40 South Harrison Street on Saturday the 15th. From 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Children of all ages can take a break from the cold with free craft projects, games, giveaways, snacks, and more!
Children will have plenty of cool activities from noon to five. The Talbot County Free Library will host a story time reading of Karen Kilpatrick’s When Glitter Met Glue and a book giveaway during the day. Two Pair Collectibles will also be doing trading card giveaways as well as free raffles and a Fire and Ice Pokemon Trading card game tournament. Gluten Free Bakery Girl will also offer treats and the wonderful folks from Merry Maids will offer free hot chocolate. There will also be a mini full-court basketball game, splat game, and connect four!
Talbot Humane also returns this year with their furry friends for their kissing booth! Meet some of the cutest, friendliest animals on the Eastern Shore in front of the Waterfowl Building on 40 South Harrison Street. You can find these lovely creatures Saturday the 15th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
