EASTON – Third Haven Friends Meeting is pleased to present another Arts & Crafts Sale on Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., located at 405 South Washington St. in Easton, MD. There will be paintings, collage, glass, photography, poems, pottery, jewelry, puzzles, gifts & more. Baked goods will also be available for sale.
It’s that time of year again, when gift giving is in the air. At the Arts & Crafts Sale, you may find the perfect handmade gift for someone special, or discover a unique piece of artwork for your own collection. In addition to visual arts offerings, there will be books and live typewriter poetry!
By making a purchase at this one-day event, you will be helping to support local artists as well as the community. A portion of all sales will go toward winter coats for the Neighborhood Service Center and Talbot Interfaith Shelter.
This event is free, open to the public, rain or shine and there is on-site parking.
Artists included this year: James Altman, Cindy Ayd, Nell Folmar, David Leonard, Beth Mufson, Chris Niles, Charissa Powell, Catherine Renzi, Queenie Richards, Jack Sealman, Sheryl Southwick, Christina Swaine, Lainie Wrightson
After you’ve checked out the beautiful artwork, take a few minutes to visit the historic 1684 Meetinghouse which is Maryland’s oldest documented frame structure and the oldest Quaker Meetinghouse (in continuous use) in the United States. Other points of interest on the property are the Burial Ground (1790s), the Brick Meetinghouse (1880), and Annie’s Cottage (1860s).
