Join us on Saturday, January 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a Membership Open House at the Academy Art Museum—your last chance to lock in 2025 pricing before rates increase on February 1st.
Whether you’re becoming a member for the first time or renewing your membership, you don’t want to miss this amazing opportunity to explore all we have to offer at the Academy Art Museum in 2026. New members will enjoy a year of membership at our 2025 pricing levels starting on Jan. 31. Existing members will be able to pay on site at the 2025 prices and enjoy membership for a full year from your current expiration date—whether it’s in January or a subsequent month!
As an added bonus, the first 200 people who opt in for auto-renew will receive a free screen printed T-shirt illustrated by Galen Marquess.
Other Highlights of the Membership Open House include:
The grand opening of our new Printmaking Studio with a live printmaking demonstrations by Scott Spector of Bay Imprint and instructor Rosemary Cooley
A chance to tour our studios, meet our instructors, and talk to our Director of Education, Matt Moore, about which class is right for you
Family Art Day activities with our youth instructors in the new children’s studio
You’ll also have the opportunity to explore our current exhibitions, including Rauschenberg 100: New Connections—an immersive exhibition centered on Robert Rauschenberg’s monumental 100-foot color photograph Chinese Summerhall, rarely exhibited because of its scale and fragility. The show offers an extraordinary look at Rauschenberg’s first journey to China and his creative partnership with master printmaker and Eastern Shore resident Donald Saff.
