The 3rd Annual Easton Beer Fest on October 6

Easton Beer Fest takes place Saturday, October 6, from 12 pm to 4 pm.  Maryland’s largest indoor craft beer festival features nearly 100 different craft beers, ciders, and mead. Beer samples are brought in by over 45 local craft breweries from Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, DC, and New Jersey. Festival entertainment includes music by local band Blackwater, a favorite in the craft beer scene, and DJ Stay-C. There will be food vendors, raffles, door prizes, games, and more.

Easton Beer Fest offers a unique opportunity to experience the widest selection of beers possible from breweries that are all located within a short drive from anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Each year brings new flavors with the goal of featuring less than 10% returning from the previous events.  New this year is the addition of the social drinking app Untappd.  This will allow participants to view all the beers being served, provide them with more information, and allow users to rate them.  Beyond education and information, Untappd also gives the festival goer the ability to recall their favorite beers once the festival has ended.

The “I Love Craft Beer (VIP)” admission includes 11 a.m. entry with a full size glass, event t-shirt, and first tap of specialty beers that are rare or hard to find.  The “I’m Drinking Beer – General Admission“ pass includes entry at noon, a tasting glass, and all the beer you can sample. The popular “Designated Driver” admission includes a free lunch and all you can drink soda for $10.00. The Easton Beer Fest is a fundraising event hosted by the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, located at 315 Leonard Rieck Drive, Easton, MD.  The Easton Beer Fest is an indoor and under cover event.  No Strollers or “4 Legged Friends” are permitted. You must be 21 to enter. Follow Easton Beer Fest on Facebook, Instagram, and Untappd. For more information and tickets go to eastonbeerfest.com
