This year’s competition and festival will take place July 17th-24th. Our online calendar has been populated with our signature events and more will be added as planning gets underway in the coming months. We hope that you will mark your calendars now and plan to join us in July when 58 of the most accomplished plein air artists make their way to Easton to compete for thousands of dollars in prizes.
If you are a local, a collector, or a fan, there is something for everyone in this exciting week in July: hundreds of newly painted canvases for sale, workshops and demos by award-winning artists, kids camp, an art competition for kids under 18, in-person conversations about all things art and whatever else we can dream up between now and July.
THE PAE PODCAST
If you want to learn a little more about Plein Air artist life, give a listen to our podcast where many alumni artists talk about their career paths, their competition experiences, the challenges and rewards of competition painting, and much more.
Our most recent episode features Award-winning artist, Tim Kelly who talks about this year’s grand prize win and the buzz of discussion left in the aftermath.
Recent episodes include these award-winning alumni artists:
John Brandon Sills
Sara Linda Poly
