Chesapeake Blooms’ Hero of the Week

Chesapeake Blooms Have you stopped to wonder how The Avalon Foundation was able to pivot with such speed and skill moving the Easton Farmer’s Market from its longtime home in downtown Easton to its current location on Glebe Road? The answer: Marie Nuthall who, on behalf of the Avalon, calmly tackled and forged ahead to create a CDC-compliant farmers market during a time when citizens were anxious about the unknowns of Covid-19 and local farmers had an abundance of crops to harvest. She created a very successful and safe experience. In her free time, she helped make the 16th Plein Air Easton an uplifting opportunity for artists and the community to come together in a safe and meaningful way. It is our honor to recognize Marie as our Hero of the Week for her outstanding contributions to better our community during the pandemic, at a time when we need “normal” in our lives. And if you’re still reading this far down, do thank Marie again as the farmer’s market returns to its original home starting next Sat., Aug.8th -once again under her expert direction. Thank you Marie for all you do and give. #bespokefloraldesign#herooftheweek#covidangels#summerflowers#flowersheal#instaflowers#floraldesign#downtowneaston#shoplocal#shopsmall#eastonfarmersmarket @discovereaston @talbotcountymd
