Maryland’s Largest Indoor Craft Beer Festival Returns to Easton on October 5
The 4th annual Easton Beer Fest, sponsored by Town & Country Wine, Liquor, etc., is Saturday, October 5. Maryland’s largest indoor craft beer festival will bring together nearly 45 breweries from the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. The featured brewers will offer samples of roughly 100 different styles of craft beers, ciders, and meads. There is live music by Black Dog Alley, entertainment by DJ Stay-C, food, raffles, and vendors selling unique items and beer-related gifts.
“Each year we strive to bring something new,” Chris Hash, event organizer and 11-year member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Department said. “We are adding new brewers such as Evil Genius, Bull & Goat, Full Tilt, and Peabody Heights, to name a few.”
Craft beer lovers can purchase their Easton Beer Fest tickets online now at www.eastonbeerfest.com. The “I Love Craft Beer” (VIPAdmission) ticket includes 11 a.m. entry, a full-size glass, Easton Beer Fest 2019 t-shirt, and first tap of specialty brews for $60 ($70 at the door, if available). The “I’m Drinking Beer” (General Admission) ticket includes noon entry, tasting glass, and plenty of beers to sample until 4 p.m. for $35 ($40 at the door). The popular “Designated Driver” admission includes lunch and all you can drink soda for $10.00. Purchasing admission in advance online is advised.
“As the craft beer scene evolves, we are excited to change with the times,” Hash said. “We want to bring the most diversified craft beer line up possible, the newest styles and flavors, along with the core craft beer brands you see on the shelf.”
Tipping the glass to what the future holds for the Easton Beer Fest, the Easton Volunteer Fire Department is in the planning stages of a new February beer festival. The winter event will coincide with the inaugural Chesapeake Fire & Ice Festival coming to Easton February 14-16, 2020.
The Easton Beer Fest is a fundraising event hosted by the Easton Volunteer Fire Department and a Discover Easton Signature Event. The festival is located at 315 Leonard Rieck Drive, Easton, MD.
