Presented by Talbot County Empty Bowls volunteers, join us for the 11th annual Empty Bowls community dinner to benefit Talbot County food pantries. Held the last Sunday in February every year, the dinner raises funds for and awareness of hunger in our community, fighting to end hunger one bowl at a time.
Tickets MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE for one of two seatings, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM and from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Your generosity in paying the online processing fees allows us to distribute 100% of your ticket cost to the pantries we support.
To bypass the online fees, please send checks for tickets and/or donations noting "Empty Bowls" in the memo line and which seating you would prefer to:
Empty Bowls c/o Mid-Shore Community Foundation (MSCF)
102 East Dover Street, Easton, MD 21601
For the price of the ticket, dinner guests choose a bowl (to keep) from the hundreds that have been painted at KilnBorn Creations, donated by local potters or bowls made and decorated by art students from Easton High School and St. Michaels Middle-High School. Once chosen, the bowl will be filled with soup from a wide selection of donated soups and chili (including vegetarian options). Guests are welcome to enjoy unlimited servings. Donated bread, cider and dessert round out the meal.
In case of very inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Tickets/sponsorships will not be refunded; proceeds will be distributed to Talbot County food pantries as planned. We will make every effort to make the bowls available to ticket holders shortly after the event or at the Farmers Markets the following summer.
THANK YOU FOR JOINING US IN THE FIGHT TO END HUNGER IN TALBOT COUNTY, ONE BOWL AT A TIME.
