With July Fourth just a couple days away, the summer of celebrating the Avalon Theatre’s 100th birthday takes a patriotic turn with the Naval Academy’s Blues & Gold Band!

The Naval Academy’s Blues & Gold Band really puts the blues in the Red, White, and Blue!

Established in 2019, Blues & Gold is the newest performing unit of the Naval Academy Band. Under the direction of Chief Musician Rory Cherry, Blues & Gold performs classic blues and blues-infused music by artists such as B.B. King and Muddy Waters and current hits by Joe Bonamassa and Eric Clapton.

Avalon Foundation’s Outdoor Summer Concerts are sponsored by Tidewater Inn, Total Home Performance, and the Town of Easton.

All shows are free and open to the public. Bring some chairs and prepare to enjoy a pleasant evening of musical fun with your friends and family. Children are welcome and dancing is encouraged. Rain venue: Avalon Theatre.
