Join Us Thursday, September 17 to Visit Our
Filmmakers through CFF, In Residence
CFF, In Residence brings filmmakers in their homes to your home via a live feed on the Chesapeake Film Festival Facebook page.
By popular demand, we’re visiting two of our exceptional filmmakers, Cornelia Ravenal and Mikael Södersten. Their international film, Moving Stories, was featured in our 2018 festival and won Best Documentary Feature that year. They’ll engage you with personal takes on storytelling, current film projects and much more.
Date: Thursday September 17
Time: 1 p.m.
Who: Cornelia Ravenal and Mikael Södersten
Cornelia has worked as a producer, scriptwriter, speechwriter and journalist with work at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center and regional theaters, in media worldwide and at 25+ festivals. For Wilderness Films, she identifies projects and opportunities, often supplying the original vision and bringing together resources and teams.
Mikael has over 20 years experience in the Nordic film and television industries. Widely known as a script doctor and dramaturg, he’s worked on over 60 projects in Denmark and his native Sweden.
To see Cornelia and Mikael, go to the CFF Homepage (chesapeakefilmfestival.com) and click on the Facebook icon (F) in the upper right-hand corner. At 1:00 pm, the video will automatically pop up on your CFF Facebook screen.
