Chesapeake Blooms announces Katie Adler Trunk Show

Chesapeake Blooms invites you to pop by the flower studio this weekend to check out our trunk show celebrating Katie Adler of Adler Grier’s jewelry collection. Katie is an Easton native turned New Yorker who worked as a specialist in the jewelry department at Christie’s Auction House before launching her own line of jewelry. She will have her latest designs available for sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm, Chesapeake Blooms is hosting a reception in Katie’s honor, giving shoppers a little extra time to shop for gifts, mingle with friends and enjoy some savory nibbles.

Adler Grier presents “casual chic” creations, infusing vibrant colors and metals that are perfect for every day wear and travel. Each unique, handcrafted piece displays a playful juxtaposition of color, material and texture to create a distinctive elegance. She has wonderful price points, ranging from $25 to $700.

Historic Easton’s only downtown floral studio, Chesapeake Blooms is busy stocking their shelves for new merchandise so shoppers can get a head start on their holiday shopping. New to the shop is artisanal, natural soaps from Jen’s Blends of Easton which will be available in a variety of fragrances and combinations.

In addition, Oxford botanical artist Jane Selden’s organic, gold-leafed gourds and pods are perfect additions for the holiday table be it Thanksgiving or Christmas or both. “They look like something that should be in Neiman Marcus or Bergdorfs,” said Samantha McCall, co-owner of Chesapeake Blooms. “They are one of a kind pieces, no two are alike and we think they are going to fly off the shelves.”

If you need a break from ducks and geese, we invite you to stop in, enjoy a cup of apple cider, vote on our #WaterfowlWindow and peruse our retail offerings. Merchandise is carefully vetted on several criteria including responsibly-sourced, handmade, and not available on Amazon.
And if you need quality fresh flowers, Chesapeake Blooms is your flower shop.
